You can choose to make it on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, but never feel you have failed if a day or week or month slips by. Remember, each time you do it is a positive— you have done something that wasn’t there before, so there are no failures here—only successes—Therefore, you can start or restart at any time during the year.
So what did I have in mind?
Smile at stranger and say hello.
Send a handwritten card to a friend or relative.
Develop a more consistent prayer life.
Visit a shut in.
Provide a service for someone—free of charge.
Yes, keep losing weight, saving money, and exercising more. Those are all worthy goals, but this year let’s look at doing something that not only improves our lives but positively impacts others as well.
